MME 40A ELECTRIC VEHICLE COMPONENTS AND THEORY 3-DAYS

Fri May 14th through Sunday May 16th

During this three-day clinic you will dig deeper into the science and technology behind EV's and gain hands-on experience with different forms of electric transport (scooters, motorcycles, and cars) to help prepare you to build your own electric vehicle.
Course topics include:

• Energy efficiency related to electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs)
• EV component choices, including motors, controllers, batteries, etc.
• The design process in building or converting an electric vehicle
• Support, safety and maintenance issues for EV's. The course will also include some tips and formulas required for getting the results people need when contemplating conversion to electric transportation.

Course will be taught by Ed Ristad, our Alt-Fuels Instructor.

Three day class Starts on Friday Afternoon 2-6PM, then continues Saturday and Sunday 9-5
